In this class, participants will be taught a comprehensive methodology for gathering in-depth information on a human target by combining methodologies from three intelligence disciplines:
Open-source intelligence (OSINT)
Social media intelligence (SOCMINT), a sub-brunch of OSINT.
Human intelligence (HUMINT), and particularly, virtual HUMINT
In addition to learning how to collect information and analyze it, they will also learn to profile a target through their social media and overall digital footprint and utilize this profile to engage with the target and elicit information that will facilitate their investigation. The latter part of the class combines investigative techniques with analytical thinking and psychology. This class is beneficial for both overt and covert operations, as well as passive reconnaissance and information gathering on specific subjects. Participants who want advanced insight into how social engineering works will also benefit from this course.
The class combines established intelligence collection practices with state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.
