Advanced Red Teaming Techniques - Malware Authoring and Repurposing
Malware Authoring and Repurposing will teach the students common techniques and design principles of malware from a source code and low-level techniques perspective. This class will show students how to implement a variety of techniques commonly used in Red Teaming toolkits including shellcoding, injection, and loading payloads. Students will also learn design principles and techniques to produce reliable payloads which will function across operating systems and versions, as well as how to avoid anti-virus or other security solutions. Finally, the course covers how to target and modify an existing malicious binary to reuse functionality.
